A special invitation to visit Cornell University

I just got this email:

You are cordially invited to attend a two-day field trip to visit Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. This tour has been arranged with the Undergraduate Admissions Office and is sponsored by the Cornell Club of Northern New Jersey. Sleeping accommodations are in campus residence halls with undergraduate students from the “Red Carpet Society” as your hosts. Due to space limitations, places on the bus will be offered with priority to first time visitors to Cornell.

Should I go? What does this mean? I haven't applied to any colleges yet because I start my senior year in September.

It means Cornell is inviting you to tour the school. Nothing more.

Oh lol should I go?

Go if you have never been to campus before and if you are interested in Cornell. Personally, I didn’t visit any colleges until after acceptance but that was just me lol. I’m a simple guy so I based all of my college applications off of their academic programs.

Your GPA & SAT indicate you’re not a viable candidate to be admitted. Colleges blast tons of marketing material out to HS students. Please see your school GC to form a set of realistic target colleges.

@T26E4‌ How can you see ronandearth’s scores?
