A special THANK YOU to Ensign Peter Bonnanzio (Indoc photographer)

A special Thank You to Ensign Peter Bonnanzio (Indoc photographer)
The photos Ensign Bonnanzio have been excellent and he will probably get the format changed from pdf to jpeg if he knows about the problems we are having.
Last year Ensign Fulton pulled “parent duty” and she kept us parents up to date on a daily basis. My wife and I had several conversations with her during Indoc and we expressed our personal “Thank You” for the photos. Without them, we could not have made it through Indoc.
I encourage each parent who has a son or daughter in the Class of 2012 to either send Ensign Bonnanzio a letter or make a phone to express your personal thanks and well wishes. This is usually a thankless job and a lot of work to boot. Just call the Public Affairs Office and ask for him by name.
These photos have been great for us too because our son is now a DI and we can watch him every day train the Plebes.
Lastly, if there is a Parents Association in your area or state-JOIN IT! You will learn about the Academy and what your Plebe is going through. The stories we heard and the in-sight we gained were priceless.

wonder what his email address is...we could send him a thanks that way

Separating the photos by CO is also really nice!

It IS really nice.

I think they're spoiling the new parents.. :)
Not like it was in the 'olden' days ... last year (hahahaha) ;)

Def a step in the right direction! Kudos to them.

What a big difference 10 years can make. They definately didn't do photos for Indoc's around my years. In fact my parents went on a trip for that first week I went to KP. Now imagine sending your son/daughter off to KP without internet/cell phones. Back in the day you had to call the pay phones and a plebe would answer the phone and then try to track down the person you were calling. Had to love "phone watch".

Hasn't changed that much, he went to indoc, we went to Vegas.

LOL.....def no phone calls when my oldest went to Great Lakes.....no cell or even a pay phone call...just old fashion snail mail :) What did I ever do????

By the way, Ensign Bonnanzio's email is: bonnanziop@usmma.edu. I'm sure he would love to hear from all you parents. He is working in the Public Affairs office for the summer.

I think the photos are just wonderful. It is a great introduction to the Kings Point Family and I hope they continue this tradition. I, should say we, feel so much better when we catch a glimpse of our daughter. I know it is tough, but we feel a sense of relief when we see her whether is it drilling, swimming or doing PT. Thanks again for this forum and all you do.

Just want thank Ensign Bonnanzio.I really appreciate your outstanding work in providing a window into the candidates daily lives. My 72 yr old dad has been watching his grandson every day from his home in FL. He told me its the highlight of his day. He is also comming to acceptance day/ Parents weekend. That one bowled me over!! Again just want you to know how much your work is affecting famlies in a very positive way.

It appears that round of "butt kissing" was unsatisfactory. (lol)
