a stroy of an idiot that might cheer you up

Last night, I set up 4 alarm clocks at 6:40 to get up and arrive at the SAT testing center on time. I have been doing really well on practice tests and i was pumped for this event.
Yet, when i woke up, it was 8:40
I wondered why i didn't wake up to the alarms.
Frustrated and discouraged, I went to Best Buy to get wii out of an impulse.
When i came back home it was 6:30.
After playing the game for a while, all 4 alarms went off like crazy.
At that moment, it hit me. It was 6:40 pm that i set up my alarm clocks at.

To explain how important this test was to me, I am a senior and I was going to apply to University of Chicago.

oh boy. i’m so sorry about that, but that did cheer me up.

Does that mean you’ll get a 0… or it’s just cancelled.

And if it makes you feel less/more of an idiot, you spelled “story” wrong.

You can phone collegeboard, and they’ll like change your test date (i read it on the site).

4 more weeks to practice?? lol

Well at least your sharing you mistakes with others so they won’t make the same mistake.

That didn’t cheer me up, it made me feel really bad because I could totally see myself doing that.

You bought a Wii on an impulse? No wonder you want to go to University of Chicago.

sorry i think this is really funny, only because the same thing happened to me last year. Ever since, ive developed ocd about setting my alarms where i check the am/pm 3 times before i go to sleep! =0

Easy solution: Wind-up clock.

Never fails.

Damn, if you had thought a bit harder I think you might’ve been able to show up to the testing Sunday morning and said you had a religious obligation and couldn’t come on Saturday.

haha…no.

“After playing the game for a while, all 4 alarms went off like crazy.”

Your alarms were playing the game? I just had to say it. :)
