it is not legal to forcibly withdraw a student from campus for mental health reasons unless (a) there is substantial evidence that they are a danger to OTHERS (not just themselves) or (b) their behavior is substantially interfering with the educational experiences and well-being of others despite the use of other, more supportive interventions.
