A Third Letter of Recommendation

I am a British student and currently do four main classes in English Literature, Physics, Mathematics and Further Mathematics. I have arranged for the letters of recommendation from EngLit and Physics and reckon that they will be very good. However, I have a close relationship with another teacher who has taught me Latin, Philosophy and Critical thinking classes that I have taken in addition to what most students do in my school. He has known me since I entered the school and ensured that I was entered into the Scholar's programme for intellectual discussion and debate. He is really the teacher who knows me best although he does not teach a main subject to me. Do you think it would be a good idea for a third letter of recommendation even though he is not from outside the school? Is there quite a high chance that since he is another teacher, the additional recommendation will not be read?

One extra recommendation is probably fine, and chances are that it’ll be read. (But, if they don’t want to read it, they won’t.)

Thanks for the response. I guess I’ll have to hope for the best.
