A Thread for People Taking The Dec. 5 SAT!

Just a place to rant, relax, and whateverrrrr

Third and LAST time taking the SAT's....

Ughhh I hate thisss

Good luck guys :p

I’m going for my third and final in Jan, mostly just because I’m strangely drawn to my testing center now, although I suppose if I do well it will help for scholarships and there will still be time to send them to one or two colleges on my list.

Oh good luck guys! This is the last chance for me as well.
Okay, so I have been preparing using this hefty 12 test Kaplan’s book. Do you think those questions are easier, harder or the same as the actual SAT. I have been getting mid-600’s for all parts. I am hoping to do at least that well (hopefully better)

Tomorrow will be my second time (: and HOPEFULLY my last time. I’m hoping for at least a 2200, but it might not happen. At least a 2000?
/crosses fingers

Good luck to all.

My first time, eek!

@May
u mean day after tomorrow

@Silver
Are u taking it tomorrow?

No, I am taking it in January and March (unless I get a perfect in January).

hai all.
D= i’m nervous!

Hi!

Im taking it tomorrow for the first time and i have done little preparation!

Could someone guide me as to what i should do with the remaining time please?

first timer here! have consistently got a 212’s and 213’s though :stuck_out_tongue:
im a bit nervous about the essay

anyways wish me good luck!

good luck to you all!

I’m so fu**in’ nervous .cheer me haha

I live in Texas and a bunch of test centers are closed because of very rare snow falls. Therefore, CB is rescheduling for December 19 (or so they informed our schools) which is probably the worst date on earth for an SAT. I’m so annoyed because I can’t make that date and this was my last chance to do well.

Aww, I’m so sorry for that, Tim. :(

Yeah. I have it tomorrow (screams in fear and dies) for the first time. I’ve done, like…barely four practice tests and each time wasn’t very confident about the essay. Math should be perfect, unless I somehow can’t bubble correctly or do something moronicly dumb (like on PSAT) the day of the test. Critical reading and writing multiple choice I think I’ve grasped the basics of…

But ■■■■ I’m so nervous about the essay, it’s killing me. It shall slaughter me. I don’t know how I’m going to sleep tonight worrying about it lol…(what a nerd…)

At least I’m a freshman. That should help cushion the suckiness of my scores…:)

I’m taking it tomorrow and this is my last chance but unfortunately i didnt have enough time to prepare for it.

Good luck to everyone.

Hey guys what do you do a day before SAT.

Is it good to study the night before the test? I don’t mean cramming - just skimming over some main points and stuff. Or should I just relax?

You should briefly study.

agreed, I skim over a few mcq questions. If you have a review book, it’s better to concentrate on the answer section (with explanations). even if you don’t know the question knowing college boards reasoning for selecting an answer is important
