I’M FINISHED. I’ve been accepted to every school on my list with exception to Emory. Oh well. It feels so good to be done with this process and not have to fret over my future anymore!! Congratulations to all who were accpeted and good luck to those still waiting.

This just goes to show you that some people on this board don't know what the hell they're talking about.

What is that last comment supposed to mean?

lol i wouldn't doubt you being accepted to those schools with your stats

have you received an official rejection letter from emory or are you just assuming? just wondering because i applied there and haven't gotten anything

I was officially rejected. And for xanatos, the last comment was directed to those who make disparaging remarks about other people's stats and chances for admittance into the college of their choice.

Congrats! Do you know where you're going to go?

What kind of scholarships did you get(if any)?

I'm still undecided, but I've received full scholarships from Auburn and Alabama and still waiting to hear from Tulane and Miami.

ok...in that case please refer to juzam_djinn's comment.

"This just goes to show you that some people on this board don't know what the hell they're talking about."

i agree with this statement. kids can estimate, but they try to turn that into authority and predict, and many times, they are wrong. and when they get surprised, they'll make up lame excuses or complain about unfairness or that the individual was an exception. BS.

Vicks,

Congratulations on your acceptances and the full scholarships. Now it's just decisions, decisions :)

Get real Vicks, none of those schools are elite or selective, it's not like you fooled us all or anything lol...

OK - question here - why does every school app have to be to an elite or extremely selective one to matter????? Those are all very good schools (selective or better according to USNews) and I am sure a good education can be gotten at any one of them.

Congrats to the OP!!! Enjoy your college years

yay. go vicks. which do u tihnk u will attend?

Good job, Vicks, congratulations to you. You have a tough choice ahead of you it seems.

And you're right, you have to take what the great CC "predictors" say with a grain of salt, they're not the admissions officers.

CONGRATS! I agree. Most people don't understand what they say when their responding! lol... People acted skeptical when I told them my list of schools because of my stats... GUESS WHAT... 5 out of 6 colleges have accepted me and I'm still waiting for my 6th... So... I agree! Good Job, relax, and CONGRATS again!

CONGRATULATIONS that is quite an achievement! I hope I'm that lucky next spring. Just 1 rejection...that's awesome. It looks like you can't go wrong anywhere :)

haha. I think that when I get all my acceptance/ rejection letters I am gonna post on the What are my chances board and see how accurate the CCers really are.

that would be great if they were totally off mark, it'd be like, hey you said this was impossible! well lookie here fools!
