There are many threads on this board that would show you your chances. Search for UCSD or UC Davis.
Having said that, unless you have extenuating circumstances, such as being a star in something, or having a family tragedy, or coming from a very poor background, your chances for UCSD, UCD and UCI aren't very good. UCSC and maybe UCSD are questionable. The others you have a very good chance.

COLLEGES APPLIED: UCSD, UCD, UCI, UCSC, UCR, CSU Chico, San Marcos, Long Beach, Fullerton, SDSU

UCSD- high reach
UCD- match/reach
UCI-reach
UCSC-match- it has a pretty high acceptance rate so even though your scores are just below the avg. theres still a good chance
UCR- safety
CSU-Chico- Safety
San Marcos- Safety
Long Beach- match
Fullerton-Safety
SDSU-Match

You picked a good range of schools.. plenty of matches, safties, reaches.. you'll definitely have a wide selection to choose from in the spring.. good luck.

intresting..... I've already gotten into Fullerton and Chico. I'm just hoping 4 UC's... Well, the only draw back (responding to dstark) was that I used to have a 2.2GPA and my Junior year, I was able to achieve a perfect 4.0 both semesters. That boosted my GPA alot. This year, I'm taking my first two AP classes (Calc AB, Physics AB).

I hope that the colleges consider my drastic improvements rather than look at how lazy I used to be be4 (ashamed) lol

That will help you in a very big way. I strongly doubt UCSD because they are so number based, and UCD is too. But that 4.0 will help. In fact Davis will bump up your gpa because of this. Go to www.ucdavis.edu and click on admissions. Keep looking and keep clicking and you will find very helpful information.
I like Chico, and know people who have done well at the school. You are already in a good school so you can relax.

yes, Chico is a decent school but the location is a killer 4 me (N. Cali). I'm more intrested in getting into UCSC.

I have also heard the same about UC Davis, that they look 4 improvements achieved by a student over the years. But is it enough to get me in? possible an appeal letter?

You have a decent shot at UCSC. That school does accept most of its applicants.
Davis, you will just have to see. Mu daughter did not get into Davis with better stats.

I'm glad your essay was killer because the UCs are going to be a long shot. Who knows though with a great essay. SDSU is probably going to continue to get harder to get into this year so I'd say no there. Since you're on an upswing, maybe consider a cc for 2 years?

yea but I'm not inclined to going to a community college just because my parents wont let me..... idn... its their and my pride/ego i guess......

AVERAGEKID, I agree with dstark's assessment. I think you're in at UCSC, maybe not at UC Davis. But, you never know, especially if you do well in those 2 AP courses you're taking this year. An appeal to UCD along with strong senior grades and maybe some rec's from one or both of those AP instructors might tip you in. I think your 4.0 GPA your junior year will speak loudly on your app. Who knows...Best of luck, let us know where you decide to go, and congrats on your Cal State acceptances! Btw, imho, I find that it's the average students who go on to college and really accomplish amazing things. :)
