Were you interested in a typical week at UCSD or UCSB? I can outline my experiences at UCSB for you.

Granted, a typical day would vary from person to person depending on your schedule; as well as your involvement in extra curricular activities and work, etc. My first class starts at 10AM on Monday (lecture), but I usually like to grab breakfast at the dining hall around 9AMish. Then I have an hour break before my next class (also a lecture) which starts at noon, and then head over to the dining hall to eat lunch. Then I have another class at 1:30, which lasts about 90 minutes. After that I have a discussion at 5:00, and then head over for dinner and start studying/watch tv/whatever. At least in my building, people stay up until a good 1 or 2am in the study room or lounge reading, so I never feel bad for starting my homework late.

Most days are typically the same, the schedule varies from day to day (I don't start class til 1230 on tuesdays and get out at 1 on wednesdays), but its usually pretty similar. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are big party nights though, so most people head into IV around 11ish and stay there for a while. That's pretty much UCSB life, though. Hope that helps you.

thanks!!!!
