i applied for the fall 2006 (UC)
i heard that they dont really care the grade that i earn in spring(last semester)
is that true?

yes, but that's not an incentive to slack....or theyll rescind ur acceptance

they probably wouldn't care, but look if you aren't happy at whatever college you go to after Freshman year and want to transfer, you can show off your high school transcript which will give them something else to look at besides college grades.

depending on what school, they will want you to keep it above some kind of GPA. for example, berkeley wanted me to keep it above a 3.0, so slacking to the point of C's is out of the question. also, you may want to just keep aiming for high grades for grad school purposes and for buffer purposes.

you've made it so far, don't slack off now. Finish strong, remember this is your last chance to go to a great school, dont want to mess it up by earning a C.
