A very sad update

have you tried just putting on the tv in your dorm lounge and watching tv in there and when someone walks in asking how’s it going and just bs abt what classes ur both taking and where your from and all that stuff? most of the friends i have now (junior year) are people i lived on the same floor with the past two years, or people met through floormates, or people met through those people. or the other thing is you could see about joining a frat. i mean here at columbia a lot of guys that join frats are people who started college and were having trouble making friends so they joined a frat as essentially a social tool. not my type of thing, but it does seem to work a lot.

upennite,
Some people are just ignorant when it comes to anxiety issues. Just ignore them.

As someone who also has anxiety issues, I am pleading with you to go to the counseling center. As good as it is that you are coming up with coping mechanisms, you deserve to really thrive.

Please, make the investment in yourself. Get the help you need and deserve.
