You’re probably in

You live in Montana and I would imagine that people from there are underrepresented at Yale

Pretty nice. May I ask your yearly income? Also, Why study Russian?

I’m not too sure on the exact figures, but I can definitely say that it would not be eligible for financial aid in the slightest…and I was just incredibly passionate about wanting to learn Russian, just a fascination I guess, so I decided to pursue it on my own.

I sense a ■■■■■ somehow…

…but if you aren’t ■■■■■■■■, then maybe 8/10 (always that lucky URM who gets in with no work)

No, I’m seriously not a “■■■■■” if that’s worth anything. I just have Yale at the top of my list and I just want to see if I even have a remote chance of getting in with my stats (which are all actually true).

Yeah I would say you are definitely in. Incredible GPA and ACT, your classes are crazy and you have great ECs. Id say you are completely on the right track. Best of Luck to you, I really hope you get in because you reaally deserve it.
Good Luck!

chance me back please

^I just saw that you are going to be a senate page this summer?!

Cmorris- I predict a YES from Yale for you. (Go Montana!)

autumn123- Once you have true SAT I, a second SAT II, a class rank, and UW GPA, we’ll be able to give you a better idea. Playing Carnegie Hall sounds lovely, but you must indicate which orchestra or competition you were in. Many mediocre groups rent Carnegie Hall and it does not always indicate national-level excellence.

my school does not give GPA or ranking, and for Carnegie Hall, in 2009 I played with my middle school orchestra, and in 2011, I played with my highschool orchestra.

OP, I’d say you’re one of the lucky few with good-great chances. You’re also one of the few that SCEA may benefit, as you’re from an under-represented area and are likely to be one of the few from your state applying early.

I’m a Junior as well and Yale has always been a dream of mine. Can anyone tell me what my chances are of getting in?

cmorris2325- you’re going to be a Senate page this summer? So am I! are you first or second session??

autumn and moniaa, you need to make your own threads if you want to be chanced. There’s no upper limit on how many threads we can have, so I really don’t see why you would hijack this one from OP.

That being said, OP has an amazing chance and I agree with what someone said about SCEA being a great choice. If I had to estimate OP’s chances, I’d say at least 75% (compared to the average of about 7%, that’s incredible).

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1159533-yale-ea-chance.html</a>
chance back!!!

you will get in wherever you want:

 1. you’re from montana, way under-represented
 2. perfect score on ACT
 3. fabulous ECs and grades

somehow i think you are a ■■■■■, but if you are not you are in great shape

oh god, I just read that some people are gonna be senate pages: that sucks. Hope you like ultra strict proctors, going to school and living in the basement of what was previously a moratorium, and having an 8:00 curfew. HOUSE PAGES RULE!!! (i was just there over the semester) But in all seriousness, being a page will be the most valuable experience of your life, at least it was for me :)

lmao, i would be scared AnonymousStudent but I’ve heard about the notorious rivalry between house and senate pages…somehow i’m not sure that you’re completely unbiased lol.

but I’m glad to hear that you had such an amazing page experience and I hope mine is just as good!

YOU WILL DEFINITLEY GET IN!!! You are a spectacular student and any college would be lucky to have you!
