On my grade report I had an A, 4 A minus, 1 B plus.

Is an A- looked upon badly by the universities?

On my grade report I had an A, 4 A minus, 1 B plus.

Is an A- looked upon badly by the universities?

Especially since I earned 4 of them? Will they assume I'm lazy?

Yes it will.

^^ He's not serious. An A- is nothing to worry about.

Now you're screwed, say hello to community college.

what colleges are you looking at?

An A- is worse than an F. Its just that bad. No community college will accept you at this point.

^ i have to agree. maybe you should consider Clown College. but even that would be a HUGE reach.

other possibilities?...

devry REACH

katherine gibbs MATCH

sanford brown MATCH

you'llsee, u forgot univsersity of pheonix and National American University

Ooooo, National American University? At this point, I might put that in the reach category. Of course, it all comes down to your ECs.

ITT Tech...Reach

McDonalds anyone?

OP: don't worry about it.
You are fine :)

Like the previous post said, you're fine. But why are you so worked up about an A-? It's not like it's the end of the world. I'm sorry if I may come off harsh but there are more important things in life to worry about.

u should really think about dropping out...i would recommend community college but itd just be waste of your parents money

Really? I've gotten a lot of A-'s and I was going to start a thread like this. Is it really that bad?

OMG, Getting an A- or below is VERY VERY VERY BAD!!!
People that are labeled failures by others will call you a failure and your parents will hate you and you'll get kicked out of your house and all colleges, universitys, technical college, and community colleges will reject you and you will live in the streets regretting that 95 average in your classes. If only you got one more question right on your calculus test, which was the only question you got wrong so you lose. Anyone who doesn't receive perfect scores in school is destined as a failure.

Gotta love sarcasm

You silly guys..I know it's not BAD. I just meant in certain schools. I want to go into Northwestern University's BA/MD program, which is very competetive.

^^For the HPME?? Well, no matter what an A- isn't bad. However, HPME at Northwestern is very competitive. I was looking at it myself when I thought that I probably wouldn't get in for it and to just apply ED for it senior year. If you want that program A-'s aren't bad, but you really should try hard to bring them to A's.

Yes, I want to do the HPME. It sounds wonderful. That's why I'm asking about the A-'s. I think that alot of them will effect my chances.
