AA transfer to FSU. Low GPA, what are my chances?

<p>I'm studying business administration at Santa Fe college. My current GPA is 2.64 and will increase to at least 2.8-2.9 after fall 2012. After i graduate with my AA in the fall of 2012, I plan on graduating to FSU college of business. But I looked on their admission website and the minimum requirement is a 2.9 gpa in all college work attempted. If I apply with a 2.7-2.8 will they reject me automatically? My core GPA is stronger than my electives and general education courses like english, science. Please, I have so much going through my mind on what to do and pitying myself for not doing better in the past.</p>

Associate in Arts (AA) Applicants</p>

<p>Applicants transferring directly after earning the AA degree from a Florida public institution will receive priority consideration for admission.
Junior/Senior-Level Applicants</p>

<p>Junior and senior applicants (60 or more semester hours of transferable credit as determined by the Office of Admissions) must:</p>

<pre><code>Have at least a 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) cumulative grade point average (GPA) on all college work attempted.
Have at least a 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) on all college work attempted at the last institution.

<p>Santa Fe is the feeder community college for UF. I suggest you apply there, too. You may receive more favorable consideration.</p>

<p>GPA is way to low for UF. But I will apply there also. I know a guy who had a 2.9 and he got into UF business school. But I really want to go to FSU. I know UCF will accept me, but I don’t want to go there.</p>
