I just got my rejection email today. To everyone that got rejected… it sucks, but it’s okay. We can always try again next year and I’m sure there are plenty of other opportunities out there.

Anyways, I got in and my experience is:
I restarted the journalism program at my high school and am the editor-in-chief as a sophomore (started at the end of my freshman year). My short response questions were pretty good (I thought)- I wrote about someone I would interview if I could interview anyone and picked a personal hero of mine, Princess Khutulun. I’m also the only one from my state that is going (there have been as many as 3 in the past) and I don’t know how many applied.

Speaking off, is anyone by any chance leaving from the Albuquerque airport OR does anyone have a flight in Denver at 10:40 AM on the way there? I’m hoping I see someone else wearing that bright green shirt because this is my first time flying alone and I have no idea what I’m doing lol
