After noticing the lack of coherent information about bs/md programs, I have made my own website to assist students in the application process. Although it is not complete, the site does have some basic information, as well as interview questions for you to prepare with down the road. I will also be including typical essay prompts, update the calendar with as many program deadlines as I can, and include a list of programs to avoid.

Remember, this is all based on my opinion, so you may agree or disagree with it to whatever extent you wish. Yes, my stats are there. If you are well informed about bs/md programs, you should be well aware that stats are only a small fraction of the application process. As such, don't get too excited if your stats are higher or depressed if they are lower.

I’d just make it clear on your flowchart of the application process that not all BS/MD programs /do/ interview; for example, Brown PLME does not interview applicants. It might also be helpful to include a list of programs and links to their webpages, since we get a lot of questions here asking for a list like that. I’d be happy to help you out.

Stanbrown, it really depends on how much work you want to put into the process. I applied to about 10, but that was very stressful. Apply widely, but no TOO widely. I think max should be 6-8.

Bruno, I understand that some programs do not have interviews (SLU is another); however, I wanted to give a bit of a general overview of MOST bs/md application processes (i’ll clarify that though). I’ll look into the list suggestion, however, there are a lot of sites that already list the programs (i have included the link to one of them in “basics”… however, what I can do is compile a list of links that provide lists of bs/md programs). Thanks for the input, drop me a PM and let me know how you can help!
