AAP Urban and Regional Studies major

I was accepted into the Urban and Regional Studies major at Cornell's Art, Architecture, and Planning school. Would anybody currently in this program be able to describe their experience with it so far? How difficult has it been? Is it interesting? What do you plan on doing after graduation?

Thanks so much for any help!!

bump…

Well, I’m not currently in it but took a lot of classes in it.

It’s a really great program. Some of my favorite professors and subjects and some interesting options for study in Rome and New York City.

I won’t say more since my opinion is rightfully not what you seek.

Congrats!

I wasn’t in the program either, but have a couple of good friends who were in it. They liked the fact that it was a liberal arts program with an interdisciplinary approach to the study of urban form and function. They also really liked the abillity to study in Rome for a semester.

One of my good friends went on to become a consultant. He is now going for his MBA at Northwestern.

Another one of my friends became a city planner. A third got involved in politics in D.C.

It’s a very flexible, interesting program.
