So I'm thinking about dropping AB Calculus next semester....how much would that hurt me from Georgetown admissions if I didn't have a math class my last semester of highschool?
That being said, I'm still in three AP classes out of 5 classes.

Will they even see that you dropped it? If you drop it after submitting a mid-year report, I don’t think they will see it (correct me if I’m wrong…) If they do see it, that will definitely look a little off. It is highly ecommended that you take a math class senior year. If you chose not to take math at the beginning of the year (without dropping anything), that would look very bad, so I don’t know if dropping it mid-year would look better or worse than not taking it at all.

What’s the reason for dropping?

…and what’s your intended major?

My reason for dropping is i currently have a c in the class.
Also my intended major is international relations/ philosophy/ poli sci

I was accepted to Georgetown EA and knew I was going to matriculate SFS. The first thing I did was call the admissions office and ask if my admission status would be effected by dropping AP calculus. They didn’t have a problem with it. With that said, it is a little more risky without an acceptance letter in hand.
