AB switching to SEAS and vice versa?

On the Princeton application, it says we should indicate a tentative area of study. I'm not sure if I want to do Applied Math/Econ for AB or the ORFE for Engineering. If I apply for AB, can I switch into ORFE in freshman year? And vice versa? Also, is there a difference in admission whether I put AB or SEAS?
Thanks

As long as you meet the requirements for whatever majors you're switching between, whether AB or BSE, you can switch between them freely (and I've heard of people doing so as late as weeks before graduation). Make sure you meet the requirements, though.

Princeton has a unified admission system, and as far as anyone's aware, no difference in admission difficulty, but they will focus more on your math/science exam scores if you indicate BSE.

The distinction between Princeton's BSE and AB program is not nearly as great compared to other schools. While they are technically different departments, they don't have an autonomous admissions office.

At most other Ivies - Cornell, Penn, and Columbia come to mind - engineering schools are completely separate entities from regular undergrad admissions, and it's kind of difficult to switch back and forth once you commit to a program on your application (A.B. or B.S.E.)
