About 5 weeks until 9/12 ACT! Help make me a study schedule.

September ACT in about a month. I've been taking practice tests and been specifically practicing on Science, Reading, and Math. My highest ACT score is a 22. But on my recent practice tests I got 25 composite. Although they are only practice tests I'm able to get a 28 on Math, 26 Reading, 24 on Science, but English is still 21 (very low).

I'm going to continue "read read read" and improving my vocabulary. But I need help with studying English. I own two grammar books, should I study a chapter a day? I own Kinneavy Elements of Writing and Prentice Hall Grammar Level Three books. So can someone design a study schedule based on that?

Also what areas such I focus on English grammar. I'm trying to use flashcards. But every year I end up forgetting on the English rules from my other test prep books.

Any other tips are welcome? Thanks.

I heard the Princeton Review Book, Cracking the ACT is good for the English section. Barrons is not bad either. Just keep on taking practice test and maybe buy the real act book aka the red book with the 3 real tests. I am taking it in September too. Good Luck.

Read up sparknotes english. Seriously, you’ll atleast bring up your english score to a 25-26.

I agree with cjgone, Sparknotes offer a very comprehensive English section.
