<p>This might sound really sophomoric and novice, but im really new to understanding this part of the system. Where do we find the college essays? What do we do with them after we write them? Do we write different essays or one common essay?</p>
<p>which type of school you looking to get in, depend on your school there are different essay. for example ALL UC use the same essay, and others use different essay. And if you applies to private, there might me multiple private college sharing the same essay topic. You have to know which one you looking at and search it up. And you can find essays at the college’s website that you looking for. And you would make an account at the college and do your college apps in that account and send it in with it. </p>

<p>It depends on where you are applying. You can always use the Common App (commonapp.org - just log on and make an account) if the schools you want to apply to accept it. There is a list of schools that accept the common app on the website, you can look through there to see whether your schools are there. If you do use the common app, then there is one essay that you write, which is submitted to all the schools you choose, which you can find on the website. Some schools ask for supplements, which can be another essay, or some short answer questions.</p>
<p>So exactly where do we find these essays? Ive been looking at a couple of college websites, but I cant seem to find it. It may be due to short sight on my part but I still cant seem to find it. HELP!!!</p>
<p>Search google for the common app. Find the site. Register. Then add colleges to “My colleges”. From there, as you try to fill out the app, you’ll find supplements. These contain essays (if they have been released).</p>
<p>-There’s a common app essay that you can find on the site somewhere. This is sent to every college. </p>
<p>-Each supplement is unique and has it’s own essays going only to the college they’re from.</p>
<p>*Note: Only some colleges use the common app. State schools and some others have their own essays you can find just by going on the official website.</p>
