about a grammatical error in my essay

I submitted Columbia supplement essays yesterday, and I skimmed through them again five minutes ago.

Of the eight essays, I found one grammatical error from the question of listing films, concerts, and lectures.

I wrote that [I attended to 'Blah Blah' (Lecture from the Climate Change Center),]
Preposition 'to' should not be there... (it even changes the meaning :() Probably I missed this error while I proofread this short essay fast.

However, I bet there is no grammatical error on other essays and main essays are fair enough.

How might this error affect my admission results?

Probably not that much. But even if the grammatical error did affect your chances of admission, there’s nothing you can do about it now. So don’t worry about it.

I highly doubt it will have any effect. They are real people reading them and they understand mistakes.

A little mistake like that, especially in that specific essay, will have no effect on your admission results.
