Over the summer I was planning on writing a play; I had a rather awesome idea also. However, I don’t think I’ll have the time. I picked the worst summer possible (the junior to senior year lapse). I’ll have college essays to write, certain applications to start, a job, a lacrosse camp, programs across the country, and homework assignments (I know it’s suppose to be summer). So, as a result–would directing a play look jest as great in the eyes of adcoms. I’ve been acting at school for quite a while, and always wanted to write/direct a play. I just don’t know, any thoughts would be appreciated.

If you are really motivated, do it. It's not like you will always be haunted with work during the summer...I mean if you are truly passionate about it, you wont think of it as work and it may even be a stress reliever from all the essays, right?

Yeah, your right. I mean, if worse comes to worst--I could direct a play, and be in it or something, right?

anyone else?

bumping once.
