About AP transcript

Hey everyone,
just wondering if you would send official AP transcript to Yale despite its website says Yale doesn't require any during admission process.

No. AP scores are self-reported.

AP scores have little to no bearing in the admissions process. Sending scores before acceptance is a waste of money.

FWIW: Here’s why you self-report AP scores to Yale and all other colleges:

The College Board DOES NOT send AP scores to Admissions Offices. Instead, when you officially report your your AP scores, the College Board automatically sends them to the Registrar’s office at the college, so the AP scores can be added to your official college record.

When the Registrar’s office receives your scores and cannot find your file, they hold the scores awaiting your file. The Registrar’s office does not forward AP scores to Admissions, so it’s a waste of your parents hard earned money to disregard Yale’s instructions!
