My daughter is in junior now and she wants to pursue premed. Looks like BC is good option, but when I look at volunteering opportunities, BU seems perfect location. Any more information about both these colleges will be highly appreciated:-)
@prsts05 BC is a Jesuit school which stresses community service. When I toured BU, there were also plenty of community service opportunities. In regards to pre-med, I am not sure, but I think both are excellent. To be more sure, you should go on google and type in "common data set " and then check out their states, looking at the amount of money going into each major that might be premed. Good luck with you and your daughter.
If I got into

I would take it in a second, but that is very selective.
While I was not premed, in my field, it was very convenient being in the city to get relevant internships.
BU may not have school spirit but as a premed you seek other things.
The only downside is BU can be tough grading which can make med school admissions more challenging.
That said, someone has to get As there.
Will come down to affordability if you get admission to both. I would apply to both.
