About Campus Visits

I was planning on going to a campus visit during spring break, and I was wondering, how long does a tour last? (just wondering if I should schedule the 10am or 1 pm time)
Do you need to bring anything with you when you visit?

There's also an option for self guided tours- how does that work? Do we just go in the campus and walk around?

thanks in advance :]

azn: not sure when your spring break is, but Binghamton is off this week…

[Register for a Campus Tour](http://binghamton.gotoextinguisher.com/Event/page2.php?y=2009&m=4&d=1&s=63&e=1&loc=&fromcal=1)

but they have campus tours? OH, I meant next week. :x

If I remember correctly it was around 2 hours, the standard info session and then a walking tour with a student. Though my memory might be mixing up times, I think the site gives you approximate times. Either way i’m pretty sure it was 2 hours, definitely around that.

Just remember to bring comfy shoes to walk around in and a pen to write some info. or names during the info session.

The site gives me an option of 10 am or 1 pm, but I guess I’ll probably pick the 1 pm one, since it’ll take my dad a few hours to drive up there and back. :>
thanks!

Does anyone know if Binghamton canceled their campus tours? My friend tried signing up for tomorrow and the option to reserve a visit tomorrow is gone. Does that just mean they’re full?
help?
I don’t want to go there tomorrow to find out they canceled their visits…

The tours are going on this week (the week of the 13th). The information session which is a presentation by one of the admissions counselors is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. At that time the tour guides will split into groups and tours will last approximately 1.5hrs. It is a very thourough and informative tour. I suggest that you bring something to write stuff down on. You never know what you may want to write down to remember.
