About Cancelling Scores

I faxed them a request to cancel my score. Is it ok if I typed up the information required and then signed (by using a pen, obviously) at the bottom, or do I have to hand-write both the information required and my signature?

Do they send you a confirmation through email?

I am kind of nervous; there is still the "check back on June 21st for your June 2nd score" sign on my SAT personal home page.

I typed mine up and signed it as well. I would imagine that it would be fine. They normally do take a while to confirm the cancellation though.

How does the College Board confirm that it has received my request?

I tried to fax to them and it said "Our office is closed. Please call again the next working day". What number did you guys fax to? Is there another way like scanning and sending by email. This is very urgent and i need help. Thanks.

You cannot send by email. Go to Collegeboard.com and click on score->canceling score. I used the fax number given.

if i faxed on a sunday, do you think they received it?

Why does anyone want to cancel scores?

Let's just say that I am a perfectionist. If I don't get 700+ on all three sections, I won't be happy. XD

You still have time to get 700+ on all three sections at your current age.

At some colleges, it is impossible to be "perfect," and thus perfectionism about scores is probably a good habit to lose now while you are young.
