About Chemistry Part B Questions (T,T,CE Questions)

um.. im studying for SAT Chemistry and since i am rising senior this is my last chance...
anyway, I was studying these T,T, CE questions and i was curious about the CE(Correct Explanation)

I know that I need to fill in CE if statement II(two) is a correct explanation of statement I(one)... but does it Work only on (T,T)?? (when I and II is both correct)

I mean... can it work on (F, T)??
for instance, if statement I is false and statement II correctly explains that statement I is wrong, that is still Correct Explanation.... so should I fill in CE??

I know that my descriptions are somewhat confusing but those who understand what I mean, can u guys help me?? I really need to get a decent score on this one (which is my last chance)

Please help me.. Thank you

The only choice possible that incorporates CE is (T,T, CE). (F, T, CE) doesn’t exist. Ever. When you have an answer with just (T, T), it means that both are correct statements in the world of chemistry, but sentence 2 isn’t the correct explanation for sentence 1.

Thank you soooooooo much about the info. :)

I had a question like this in Barron’s Chemistry book…

It really helped me so much…

Thank you again… lol
