<p>You should visit the schools before going for any of them.</p>

<p>I apply to Macaulay College at Hunter so, unfortunately, can apply to only one college.</p>
<p>I know that Baruch has excellent business program. I also heard that Hunter&CCNY are good in social sciences field so I would say, out of your list, CCNY has the best sociology program.</p>
<p>and CCNY has a dorm (I don’t know how “selective” it is) and (as I heard) beautiful campus so go for it :)</p>

<p>If you’re absolutely sure that you want to major in sociology…</p>
<p>But keep in mind that many, if not most, students change their intended major at least once.</p>
<p>@ prodigalson yeah I know… it’s just as an International student I have to declare a major while applying for visa related issues, so I did a lot of thinking and chose sociology, but if it doesn’t work out for me I guess I’d have to change it…but for now I’m going with sociology.</p>
