I'm currently at UCI and I want to transfer to another UC (I will transfer to CCC after this quarter). I am taking a course designed by the UCI math department (Math for Economists) and, right now, it seems like I will probably end up with a B-/B, to be optimistic. Would it be better to take a C+<B-<B+ or should I just drop this course?

Also, which classes do the UCs look at? Since my math class is not a GE and only a UCI-designed course, would the grade be considered as much?

EDIT: If I drop by this Friday, I will not get a W.

heyy! I am currently a first year at UCI too and I am going to transfer to CCC soon too (cuz I want to go to other UC school)
Are you a business Econ major? I took Math 4 too but i dropped it during week 2..
I am not going to finish this quarter, because my grade for Humanities Core course is gonna ruin everything. I am going to withdraw from school very soon..
the CCC counselor told me it is better to have W than having a bad grade. She also said that W isn't a big issue, but I just have to explain later why I withdraw from school before this quarter end.

sorry i didnt answer your question, I just feel excited to see someone in the same boat..

good luck!

oh, that's cool. Now I'll probably just drop it since it would just count as 4 credits. I'll still have 34 credits by the end of this quarter, so I don't care
