I am aware that you may drop a course up to the 12th class day. So I'm enrolled in 15 hours and am thinking of dropping a course that I currently do not need. That would bring me down to 12 hours. If I drop today, will I be negatively affected in any way?

No, you can drop till the 12th class day without penalty. I’m kind of in the same situation as well 15 hrs and want to go down to 12 but the class I want to drop I feel will really help me and I will need to take it next semester anyways (freshman sig course), it’s just that the summary for the class sounded really interesting but it turns out the class is just not what I expected at all. So the 12th class is friday so you have until then to decide.

^ Out of curiosity, which UGS class are you talking about?

hmf123 before you drop you should go and look up the classes for next semesters ugs and see if any interest you. if not i’d stick it out if you think you can pull off a good grade because then you’d just be in the same situation, except with no way out.

^Yeah that’s what I’m doing, I’ll probably wind up sticking it out like you said but I’m still thinking. W2k? It has to do with Shakespeare, the thing is it’s just like my high school english class (imo) and the description made it seem like it would be more than that…and I’ve already gotten credit for all my english classes. The prof. is great just don’t really like the subject as much as I thought I would. I don’t see the connection between what we talk about and the class description. Altho for anyone who’s madly in love with Shakespeare and lives and breathes iambic pentameter I’d recommend it. (Seriously)

hey hey I need to add classes instead…I’m thinking of adding a Physical Education class…but there aren’t any options for adding on the registrar. I’m thinking the only way to register would be to head directly to the department of…erm…Physical Education? but I don’t know which building houses that department…does anyone know?
Oh btw there won’t be any extra tuition fees if I add credit hours on top of my existing twelve right? Just like it says in the Uni Catalog, 12 or more credit hours pay the same amount?

After 12hrs there are none, you could add 10 more and you still would pay the same amount so don’t worry about that.

ah ok. With that out of the way, I just need to figure out where to register for it…and to decide between Scuba and Fencing XD

Damn I should have checked registration periods I had the other day and I thought you could still drop till midnight of the 12th class day. Turns out you only have till 5pm I guess I’ll just have to stick it out the shakespeare class. (Definitely not worth using a q-drop) Should’ve started on that paper earlier…but why in the world does the last day have to have a different time? Ugh.

Well I couldn’t add that PED class
Instructor wasn’t around to give me a signature…
What a waste…I should have acted sooner.

^You and me both :(
