<p>This is confusing. Does this mean that decisions will be available AFTER 7PM because the portal is going to be unavailable or that they will be emailing decisions instead?</p>
<p>The portal is on a different page from the site you get the decision from though, so wouldn’t it not matter?</p>
<p>@iantolee: No. Penn has two portals–the application portal and the decisions portal. The above dialogue you quoted means that the Application Portal will be closed (basically all day) on Dec 9, most likely to house the server of the Decisions Portal. The decisions portal link should’ve been e-mailed to you (and it’s also on the Penn Admissions website).</p>
