About Football Tickets!!!!

Where and how can you buy Rose Bowl, Fiesta Bowl (or something like that) game tickets?

I mean NOT purchasing from an individual.

(Here's analogy: People buy student tickets near the stadium on campus. And some of those students might sell those tickets at a higher price. So, where can u buy Rose Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, etc. tickets officially?)

These types of events are generally sold out well in advance. Most of the seats go to corporations, so you can't get them "officially" at this point. There are a number of premium online ticket brokers that you could use; however, the prices are much higher than face value.

It depends on the Bowl and teams involved. I believe most bowls sell tickets to locals long before the teams are announced or anybody can make a reasonable guess as to who will be in the game. I'm sure its way past this point for 2005. Some schools might open up tickets to non-season ticket holders if there are some left after donors and season ticket holders get theirs. I'd be checking the USC/Texas/Notre Dame/Oregon/Ohio State/Penn State websites often to see if they will be opening seats up to non-donors. That way if there are some, you can get one before it runs out. Not to mention, you can get into any spoting event you want, as long as you are willing to spend enough.

cool: for Rose Bowl tix, they'll be officially on sale starting Tuesday, December 6 at 8 AM PST at Ticketmaster.com.

I haven't found any info on the Fiesta Bowl yet.

My dad and my brother got tickets on eBay for the Fiesta Bowl a few years ago (when it was the national championship game) at very reasonable rates. I understand you're not really looking to buy them from an individual, but I think it's one of the easier ways to get decently-priced tickets.

i met someone last year who flew from dc to pasedena with no ticket and just got one outside the stadium. if you dont mind missing the first minute of the game you can get a ticket fairly cheap when they start getting worried about not selling them

i wouldnt count on being able to buy tickets from scalpers. outside notre dame stadium before the big usc game, there were some scalpers that looked shady and were obviously selling fake tickets, and some scalpers who didnt look shady who were probably also selling fake tickets, at 1000$ a piece. if you dont mind emptying your pockets to that degree, go ahead. but as for going w/o ticket, its just asking for disappointment.

theres thousands of people outside the stadium- just ask one with a ticket if you can look at the scalped one next to theirs. also- call 2 scalpers over near the start of the game and see who will go the lowest

Tickets are all sold out for most of the bowls... my school is playing in a BCS bowl, and since unfortunately there are not enough student tix for all the season ticket holders, they're doing a lottery system. If I don't get tix that way, it will be eBay or scalpers for me... because I will effing BE THERE
