<p>I think everyone participates in FYRE, which you get placed into automatically. Explorations is just a part of it; instead of being placed at random, you get put in a group with people who have similar interests. It helps, I think, if you sign up for an Explorations program at a dorm if you really want the dorm, and it depends on the person... whether you like sharing interests or not.</p>
<p>You apply for Explorations by submitting your housing forms, then going to the Explorations website and submitting the application for the program that's there. It's due May 11.</p>
