Hi everybody,

I am Jeffrey Bian from Beijing, China. I applied for some programs in US to continue my study. My interest is in Game Design (whether technically or not) and below are the schools / programs I applied.

1 ETC @ CMU;
2 Media Design and Production Track, Telecom @ IUB;
3 Interactive Games and Media @ RIT;
4 GNWC (which locates in Vancouver, Canada);

Currenly I already got an offer from IUB with TA/RA. But I cannot find much alumni info from Telecom@IUB. The committee told me that they do have Game design courses and projects on going. But I would like to know how IUB's game related program is recognized within the industry, because I am foreseeing to work for game companies (level design/engine design) in the future. Could anyone who knows much about it share me some information?

Also, IGM @ RIT looks good. I also heard RIT has strong connections with industry (from their website). But there is no clear ranking of RIT's graduate school (at least i cannot find one). Anyone has some advice on the choice?

As for GNWC, i don't think i could more information except from its official site.... it is quite new and looks somewhat not 'formal'... :(

I'd appreciate your advice and suggestions.
