<p>I received a letter from the NYU that I was referred to GSP. Is teaching quality as good as one at the CAS? Would I be recognized same as attending CAS for 4 years?</p>

<p>It should be pretty good as you'll be taking alot of CAS courses anyway.</p>
<p>The stats for people attending GSP are generally high high school GPAs/class rank but comparatively low test scores.</p>

<p>Scribner, is that true about GSP being for people with low test scores? If so, I'm screwed because I'm the opposite... Low GPA, good test scores... We've had this convo.</p>
<p>I'm kind of counting on GSP, because I honestly don't think I have a chance of getting into CAS. Hell, I think my chance of GSP is slim. (I'm not negative, I'm just realistic. Hence why I haven't done a "chances" thread... I don't need to.)</p>

this year AP Physics, AP English, AP economics/Us Gov, and Honors Calculus... so far all A's. it's just freshman and sophomore years...</p>
<p>SAT CR: 750, M: 610 W: 700
SAT II: I just took them last weekend. Literature was easy. Chemistry I think I bombed. But we'll see.</p>
<p>Extra curricular activities include school plays, writing for the school news paper, Student Government Representative, and our schools "academic team"</p>
<p>I volunteered at an art museum and I've done some chemistry tutoring. Yeah, I am pretty good at chemistry, I don't know why I screwed up that SAT II.</p>
<p>I'm applying to CAS as an English major. Really good essay and reccomendations. ^_^</p>
