About how many can you miss in each section and still score over a 2200?

I notice im missing around 4-5 in Verbal/CR combined and missing about 6 in math alone. About how many can you miss on the REAL SAT and still stay above a 2200?

bump... anyone?

-6 in math can be newhere from 680 to early 700's depending on the curve and whether or not u missed free response qs (which don't count against you)..... a minus 4 to 5 in reading it mid 700s to early 700's..... so umm if u do well in writing u could pull it i guess.... keep working! and goodluck

Okay, so to pretty much get that 2200 I'm going to just give you what you need to get a 730 on each section. So assuming you answer every question, you can get six wrong on CR, two wrong and one open ended wrong to get a 740, and giving you a 10 on the essay two/three wrong. Note: these scores are based on the October 2005 SAT's. Good luck :D

thanks a lot for your input guys, much appreciated!

Well, you see it depends on the curve.
For instance, a really harsh curve can result in a 700 with 4 wrong, where a good curve can give you a 700 with 7 wrong, it all depends.

does harsh curve mean easier test and good curve a harder test?

If so which months are the easiest and which are the hardest?

no well... not necessarily.. they try to make an "easier" or greater curve for the tests that they feel have omee harder qs.. safe bet... BE consistent.. because the qs won't be like that much harder
i've also HEARD that oct has an easier curve.... but this is all speculation i think
