I'm hoping to transfer to UT Austin in fall and I'm almost done finishing everything up, but my only gripe is getting letters of recommendation. On the site it says they are optional but I thought I should still get some just to help push myself a bit forward, but the downside is this semester out of my core I'm only taking 2 classes from those (english and macro). Well they both know my name and my English teacher keeps saying I'm a brilliant young man and agreed to writing a letter so I have him, but I'm not sure if I should get another and whether from my macro prof. or another teacher I'll have next semester or just using that one.

Any input? My grades are good, I already have a 3.7 from previous years and this semester should be keeping it close (hopefully), so if that adds anything. Also I'm trying for the RTF program in the school of Communications.

Thanks in advance!
