About international applicants

I'm an international student from Taiwan (Republic of China), applying for architecture.

I'm quite anxious because I didn't get the likely letter:(

Did Cornell also send likely letters to accepted applicants outside of the states?

Besides, does anyone know the percentage of accepted Common App. students who get the likely letters?

The waiting game is torturous...

im international too… did not get a likely letter and havent noticed any interntaional applicant report getting one on CC

Cornell does not appear to send many likelies. You probably noticed a lot of people receiving decisions, but these were for the rolling schools. I wouldn’t be worried if you haven’t received a likely, they are rare and even more so for internationals.

Good luck!

Well, If I were you I would not be too concerned because such a minute percentage of applicants receive a likely letter. In fact most applicants don’t even get one. Also, some IV Leagues conduct such a process with the hopes that a student would be relieved of stress.

stop worrying. cornell likelies are ONLY for minorities. Asians are not minorities.
