About JHU essay

How about teacher using common app rec and using JHU application? Is that fine ?

Thank you all in advance!

I've heard a similar question asked elsewhere and according to my sources, that's fine.

DO NOT MIX APPLICATION FORMATS.

When applying to Hopkins we strongly urge students to select one application method and applying using all forms related to that application method. Mixing application formats can create duplicate accounts and cause problems with the processing of one's application.

If you choose to apply to Johns Hopkins University using the Common Application online, than you must also submit the Johns Hopkins Supplement to the Common Application online. As well, if you select the Common Application to apply, then you SHOULD NOT use any application materials associated with the Johns Hopkins or Universal College application. Please do not mix up online and mailed application formats.

For teacher recommendation forms and school reports. please use the proper forms that accompany the application method you select. If you choose to apply via the Common Application then use all of the Common Application forms. Once again, do not mix application formats as that will lead to problems with the processing of your application.

Thank you, Admission Daniel.

You solved my problem very clearly.

Happy New Year!
