<p>I am wondering how convenient the transportation system the USC has. How far is the nearest metro stop and are there any buses around the campus? How much do mass transits cost?</p>
<p>I'm kind of curious about this, as well. I hear mass transit in LA is BAD and taking the bus to anywhere halfway decent in the city is 1.) complicated and 2.) can take an hour. So it's best if you know somebody with a car/have one yourself.</p>
<p>Personally I'm not afraid of long, complicated bus routes. I was wondering how easy it is to get out to the beach via bus on the weekend, and if you're allowed to bring things like surfboards on. I know unless I have a car I wouldn't be able to surf every morning, but I'd be ok with once/twice a week :).</p>
<p>I heard the same thing too... LA needs its subways to be earthquake-proof but it is not densely enough populated to spend that much money... I am not sure about the buses though...</p>
<p>BTW does anybody know how long it take for one to walk to Koreantown?</p>
