I was a bit curious what people on here wrote for their "talk about themselves" essays? Mine has nothing to do with me at all (not directly at least), but it does express my personality in a creative sort of way -it show about my humor and my creativity as I discuss an absurd "favorite" object. Is that what they had in mind or find acceptable? And how much do they care about the essays? this one in particular? I know some schools thinks essays are very important while others hardly read them at all.

anyone?...

Oh, I would respond to this topic, but I'm about to go jump off a bridge because I can't think of anything to write for the essay AND THE DEADLINES IN A WEEK!!!!

So I can only assume that there are many people who are clueless as to what to write

ah i wrote about myself as a monster

I just used my common app essay about "an experience that changed you". It did the job, I think.

I'm stuck too. I most likely will just send my common app essay about how my grandpa has influenced me, which my English teacher said was well done.
