About meal plans

they roll over week to week but you lose them at the end of the semester

Besides the one piece of fruit, can I also come in and bring a small jug and fill it up with the water at the machine for free? So far, I've found the water situation here to be a bit of a hassle (I know there's a drinking fountain down the hall, but still). My roommate bought a Brita water purifying system, but that's really cumbersome, and I know someone down the hall has Sparklets water delivered literally to their door, but I think that's kind of much for college.

I suggest buying one of those cases of water bottles from costco and keeping it in your room...seriously. bottles can be carried anywhere, it's already purified ...and accessible. My roomate and a couple of my suitemates also have wter bottles. Definitely love em.

spark15-Gold plan- you can go into EVK/Parkside however many times you want. There's no 10 meals per week thing. But you don't get dining dollars which are pretty handy.
Cardinal plan- 10 meals/week and 510 dining dollars.
I don't suggest gold plan to anybody because you'll never goto EVK that much. Lots of people had 30-50 meals left over by end of the semester last year. And it only started accumulating mid semester, not even the entire semester if i remember correctly.

powerabe13- I believe what they mean by unlimited is 'unlimited.' You can go into EVK 10 times a day if its too hot outside and you just want to chill inside in EVK with the air conditioning, LOL. Yeah if you want to stop by for a fruit, coffee, whatever it doesn't matter. You can go in whenever you want, however many times you want.

I really don't suggest cardinal gold plan however, you'll never eat there THAT much. IT WILL GET OLD. you WILL buy lots of junk food or general crap at tro gro and the commons.

Tumbleweed- I agree with you (i have 24 dasani bottle pack) but its difficult for people without any means of transportation. I dunno, i had to drive my car to superior (from birnkrant lol) just so I wouldn't have to carry stuff back (i'm sure gas costs more lol)

uyulove - i don't think your meal plan info is right. i think the gold & cardinal plan are the same (10 meals + 510 dining dollars) and the unlimited meals plan is called the gold fast pass/cardinal fast pass or something like that.

itla_uno is right.

Does anyone know if you can use more than 10 meals a week on Cardinal? For example, say I have 20 meals from rollover, and I have 5 friends who want to eat lunch with me. Can I use 6 meals for lunch?

I believe that they will let you swipe in friends like that.
