about Middlebury

I recently visited Middlebury and the campus is really nice. So far, a lot of people have told me that Middlebury is a good school but i feel as if a lot of people don't know a bout it. Does anyone know a lot about Middlebury? I know that it is number 8 on the list of top liberal arts colleges but what about after college? Is Middlebury College a well known school when you are apllying for a job?
When I was talking to the students there, they all love being there and say the school has so much to offer. Can anybody give me more information about Middlebury?

I'm a sophomore...specifically, what would you like to know?

Well, I have a question. How much does midd help students reguarding getting internships, jobs, and into grad school?

We have a career services office that taps into our very extensive alumni network. They have events year-round; resume workshops, interviewing workshops, job fairs--they set up appointments, put you in touch with people, things like that. Of course, you have to go to them for them to work for you. I've heard no complaints.

lindy, as compared to other colleges such as maybe the ivies or other famous schools like UC Ber and USC, do you feel that students are disadvantaged career-wise?
ps. dont only address american students, intl students too, please!

I really don't think that graduates, American or international, of liberal arts colleges, especially of Middlebury, are disadvantaged when it comes to finding jobs. Employers with the right attitude know that such graduates can think and write exceptionally well. Also, many employers, unlike the average person on the street, have heard of Middlebury College; it's a respected institution.
