Hi everyone, I have just got my AP scores:
Chemistry 5
Macroeconomics 5
Microeconomics 5
Calculus BC 5 (AB subscore 5)
Physics C: M 5
Physics C: E&M 5
Statistics 5
I'm a freashman in L&S, and what classes can be replaced by my AP scores?
Can anyone help? THX!!

Hi. Good job.
You can opt out of
Chem 1A
Econ 1
Math 1A-1B
Physics 7A
Straight into Stat 134 if you are interested.

THX!! one more question: What is the different between Physics 7B and 8B?

Whether you can opt out of any physics course depends on your major.

Physics: no, consider taking H7A
MCB and IB: no
Majors in College of Engineering: 7A only
Majors in College of Chemistry: 7A only
Other majors: check major department web site
Pre-med (regardless of major): check medical schools on AP credit substitution (in many/most cases, AP credit substitution is not accepted unless you take an additional more advanced course in the subject)

Physics 7 is for physics, chemistry, and engineering majors and is the more math intensive than Physics 8, which is for biology and architecture majors and pre-meds (Physics 7 is generally accepted in place of Physics 8 when Physics 8 is specified). Physics H7 is the honors version of Physics 7.
