Hi, I am a transfer student that recently got accepted to Berkeley, and I would like to know how to prepare and plan classes in general. My major concerns are how to avoid bad professors besides checking on rate my professor and how to access to past exams.

As a transfer student, you can also use the old final exams to check your knowledge of material taught in lower division Berkeley courses, if your previous college courses are not exact matches for Berkeley courses in terms of material covered. (This is also useful for freshmen considering skipping introductory courses with AP, IB HL, or A-level credit.)

I am a engineering physics major, also planning to minor in eecs

Another question I would like to ask is how is the internship/research availability at Berkeley, what are the requirements to secure a research or an internship opportunity?

Thank you for the reply, the previous post was really helpful, I did manage to take a look at my department and found some old exams.

I can’t believe no one has mentioned ninjacourses.com, haha. I’ll admit that the previous exams are a bit sparse there, but there are a lot of professor ratings for each class.
