Ok, I've noticed I been slacking off these days so i decided in going to go on a study sphree =). So i got three SATS books laying around and i decided to use them. They are all 2005 books and i plan on doing all their practice exams, but first i need to learn alittle more about the test and how it works, and the 3 books all have explainations

Books are:
1. Cracking the New SAT, by: The Princeton Review
2. How to prepare for the new SAT, by: Barrons
3. The Offical SAT study guide: For the New SAT, by: Collegeboard

which book do you think is best at explaining ?
Also is there any difference b/w these books?

First off, I would suggest using the SAT Prep board for more info...
The Xiggi posts might be of particular interst to you.

But anyways, the general consensus seems to be that the 'Blue Book' (Collegeboard) has the most accurate tests and should definitely be used in that respect. The other two still offer valuable questions and reference material, but they are less similar to the actual test.

The Official SAT study guide from collegeboard is the blue book right? Well that has no explanations to answers.

Currently, I'm using Kaplan, CB bluebook and PR.. all of them are just practice tests and I think PR has really good explanations. And PR and CB's questions are simliar.
So PR if you REALLY want the explanations.. but CB if you want the 'true' practice-tests.
