About self- studying AP Psychology and AP Envi Sci

Hi everyone,
I am going to be a sophomore after summer vacation and I will take two AP's which are AP cal and AP chem. Cause in our school Poway High School ,San Diego, counselor doesn't recommend you to take many AP's. Therefore, I only take two. So is there any possibilities that I can self- study AP Pys and AP Envi Sci online or are there any reference books that I can use to help me out ????
I will really appreciate any replies,thanks...

you’re only going to be a sophomore, relax.

I don’t know about AP psych but I’ve heard it’s pretty easy.
I self studied APES my sophomore year for only 6 days with no biology background and got a 4, so it is pretty easy.

Thanks mwright8294… But what kind of books do you use to prepare for it >??

Self-studied AP Enviro sophomore year- used Earth as a Living Planet, Princeton Review, a little bit of Kaplan.

I only used Princeton Review and the only reason I didn’t get a 5 was because I didn’t even finish reading all of the notes

Having looked at various threads, it seems that Princeton Review is the best choice for AP Environmental Science while Barrons is the best choice for AP Psychology. It seems that it’s possible to get a 5 on AP Psych. by just thoroughly reading the prep book. I don’t know about Environmental Science though, but since it’s an easy AP maybe one could get a 5 by using the prep book alone.

I heard AP Pyscho and AP Enviro are jokes. Why would you choose these?

If your willing to put extra time in choose something more rewarding, and something colleges will look more favorably upon, like AP Chemistry or Biology.

Double post my bad

There is a good AP Psychology book by REA called AP Crash Course. The other AP Crash Course books by the same author-APUSH and AP Euro have been very popular.

AP Psych is insanely easy. I don’t know what method you would use to “self-study” but I don’t think that would be a problem. My high school was a joke, I didn’t learn anything in my class, never studied and I got a 5. You should be just fine.
