So, I was full time at CSM in the San Mateo district during the spring and I came from UCI and sent in my transcripts and got my transcripts evaluated at CSM. So, I want to be full time at another college in the same district (Skyline) but I'm really not sure if Skyline gets my transcripts and the transcript evaluations or if I can get IGETC certified there. Would someone let me know if this switch is okay?

Ultimately, you will have to get IGETC certified at whatever CCC you attended last prior to transfer, not including summer. Any courses that you took at CSM that count towards IGETC there can easily be used by Skyline to certify IGETC. But if you’re using Irvine classes towards IGETC that’s trickier. In my experience, stuff like that would not automatically be shared between CSM and Skyline. As Skyline will be certifying IGETC, if they’re to use classes from Irvine they’ll have to evaluate your transcripts themselves. But I’m not entirely sure. I would talk to a counselor.

CSM and Skyline use the same system so all your info will be available to both campuses. You can get igetc certified from either school after you complete all the courses.
