Hi Everyone!
I am an international student and I am a current senior right now. I got B+ in my english class (honors class) while most students get A- or A. Since English is not my first language and I am shy to speak up in class, my participation grades suck. They pull down my grade. i also got B+ on AP US Government while other students get A- or A. Since colleges I apply to will see two B+ on my transcript, I think it hurts my application a lot with two B+ and several A-. I expect to transfer to a better college in freshman/soph year during college because I feel that right now my GPA kills my chance of getting into my dream school. So I am wondering if I take online AP English Language and AP Lit and get both A- on them, will them remedy my english grade? Will colleges acknowledge my online AP grades? I plan not to talk to my school about putting online grades into my official transcript because my school really doesn’t care about international students and I hate English department chair a lot due to some conflicts with her last year. So colleges will see an official high school transcript and another separate transcript from online schools. Will colleges feel better or they will not take online AP grades serious? Thanks!!! :DDDDD
Your online grades won’t be available in time to make a difference in your application this spring. Stop over-thinking this. Apply to places where your current grades will be good enough.
thanks for reply. but i plan to transfer in college. so i guess it will make some difference rather than not doing anything ;D
